Dining Out
Ordering Wine
Server: Hi, my name is Joy and I’ll be your server tonight. Can I get you started with anything?
Diner: I’d like to order something from your wine list.
Server: Wonderful! We have many choices.
Diner: A bottle of the 2005 Three Palms Vineyard Merlot sounds good.
Server: Good choice! I’ll be right back with your wine.
Ready to Order
Server: Hi! Are you ready to order?
Diner: Not quite yet. What are your specials today?
Server: Our specials today are the New York Steak and the crispy roasted lamb.
Diner: Oh, crispy roasted lamb sounds delicious! What does it come with?
Server: It comes with fingerling potatoes and sautéed organic kale.
Getting a Dessert
Server: How was your dinner? Would you like some dessert?
Diner: Dinner was fabulous! And yes, I’m eyeing the crème brûlée.
Server: I think you’ll love it! Would you like some coffee?
Diner: Yes, I’d love an Americano, please.
Tongue Twister:
Crisp crusts crackle crunchily.
即学英文又学常识了,我就是不点dessert 的之一!
@Styang Many thanks for your ongoing support as well!🙏
Can I order both the wine and draft beer!Haha
Thanks for dragging me from under a rock. 👍👍👍👍👍
May I suggest another possible distinction between stir fry and sauté, i.e. Stir fry is Asian while sauté is European.
@PseudoCoder Awesome suggestion!👍 How come I didn’t think of that! Also, many thanks for your ongoing support!🙏
