Buying A Home?
Sarah: Hi Michael! Oh, hi Rex! How’s it going?
Michael: I think Rex is trying to outrun me. I just took him off his leash. How are you doing, Sarah?
Sarah: I’ve been quite busy lately. I was helping my sister house hunt all over the place. Her family just moved here.
Michael: I just read an article about buying a home in the Washington Post. Sarah: Really? Does it give any good tips?
Michael: Yeah, it does! I’ll forward you the article when I get home. But I recall that the most important thing is to not get overly enticed by quartz counters, wood floors or, backsplashes. There are more important factors to consider when buying a house.
Sarah: What are those factors?
Michael: Well, buyers should think about resale and future development plans for the neighborhood, etc.
Sarah: That sounds right to me. I also learned something interesting while house hunting with my sister. If you’re buying a home with solar panels, ask the sellers whether the panels are leased or owned.
Michael: I think the article mentioned that too. Anyway, Rex is getting restless, so we better get going. I’ll be sure to send the article to you.
Sarah: Sounds good. Thanks Michael!
The hidden richness of your episodes are amazing. While gave information on life in North America, you never forget to teach the language and its usage
Your encouragement is much appreciated!🙏
Thanks, to be honest, Nancy’s a great partner to work with.
